Bio
Romero Rodrigues is Managing Director of Redpoint e.ventures, focused exclusively in Latin America. He is also Co-Founder and Chairman of Buscapé Company, a comparison shopping service launched in 1999. The company processed 20+ acquisitions (from payments to classifieds) and received 4 rounds of investments during the last 16 years. In 2009, Naspers, a South African group, acquired 91% of Buscapé in a valuation of USD 374M. In Nov/2013, Rodrigues became Global CEO of Comparison Shopping of Naspers. Rodrigues is also affiliated with Endeavor, a NGO, where he acts as a mentor and board member. He is also a board member of Wayfair (NYSE:W).
Romero Rodrigues has a BSc in Electrical Engineering at Escola Politecnica from the University of São Paulo.
