Ziad is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Longworth, and the founder and CEO of Marginize. Marginize augments every page on the web with a sidebar where users can interact through comments and check-ins. Founded in 2010, the company was enrolled in the TechStars accelerator program and went on to raise venture funding later that year. Ziad's main focus is on the growth of Marginize. Ziad also works with the Longworth team on all aspects of the investment process from deal sourcing and due diligence, to deal execution and ongoing support of portfolio companies. His main focus in on social media and business applications. Ziad joined Longworth from the Boston Consulting Group where he advised clients on a wide range of strategic and operational challenges. Prior to BCG, Ziad worked as a consultant with Ernst & Young where he helped launch a new advisory practice focused on IT strategy and governance. He earned his undergraduate and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His graduate studies focused on artificial intelligence and digital signal processing.
