Ward Young

Bio

Ward Young is a Senior Associate with Global Infrastructure Buyout, focusing on investments in the infrastructure sector. Mr. Young is based in New York. Since joining Carlyle in 2007, Mr. Young has been actively involved with the firm’s investments in Illinois Central School Bus, LLC and Project Service LLC, a public-private partnership with the State of Connecticut. Mr. Young was a member of the transaction team that executed Carlyle’s acquisition of both companies. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Young was with UBS Investment Bank in New York. Mr. Young received an A.B., magna cum laude, in history and political science, from Brown University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Young is a member of the Board of Directors of Project Service LLC and an observer of the Board of Directors of Illinois Central School Bus, LLC.
