Bio

Walter Stasik is an Operating Partner. Mr. Stasik has more than forty years experience in the capital equipment manufacturing business. He most recently served as President and CEO of Genesis Worldwide II, one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of metal coil processing equipment, and a portfolio company of KPS Capital Partners. From 2001 to 2008, he was instrumental in returning the company to profitability. Mr. Stasik previously served as Vice President for Voest Alpine Industries; from 1993- 2000 he was the Chief Operating Officer for Danieli Corporation. Prior to Danieli he served seven years as Chief Financial Officer for Wean Incorporated. During the previous eighteen years Mr. Stasik held various management positions at Cooper Industries, the last as Vice President of Finance for the Mining and Construction Division. Mr. Stasik has participated in several industry organizations including The American Iron and Steel Institute, the Association for Iron and Steel Technology and the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association. Mr. Stasik holds a B.S.E.E. degree from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
