Timo Petäjä

Bio

Dr Petäjä is a founding partner of Bio Fund Management Oy Ltd, and has also served as a board member ever since the founding of the company. In addition to his service on the board, funding work, and investor relations, he is in charge of finding investment targets in the fields of nutrition and processing industry. Before Dr Petäjä joined BioFund, he worked as an investment director of venture capital group Sitra. He has also worked as process and product development director at Alko Ltd, Primalco Ltd, and as director of the Chemistry and Engineering business units, and R&D director of Oulu Ltd. Dr Petäjä has served as chairman of the board at Conox Ltd, MB Multi Bene Health Oy Ltd, Elixi Oil Oy, Bioka Oy, Hi-Col Oy, Tapvei Oy and Forchem Oy and as board member in Inion Oy, Medikalla Oy and Aromtech Oy. Additionally, hei is and has been on boards of directors in many other life science companies. Dr Petäjä has published 15 scientific papers.
