Bio
Founding partner of Sovereign Capital has been integral to the development of its Buy & Build strategy and its team. Led their education and training team at Sovereign and his transactions have included educational Buy & Build successes SENAD (exited at 6.0x money multiple) and Alpha Plus (exited at 5.5x money multiple), training providers esg and Paragon and more recently international schools group, WCL. Also chaired and contributed to a number of policy reviews on educational disadvantage and children in care. Has also led the ongoing development of DC Leisure and LPM in the support services sector and NFA in the healthcare sector. Has worked in private equity since 1993 and has led a large number of successful private equity investments, whilst at HSBC and Gresham. BA in History from the University of Cambridge.
