Former Group Engineering Director of GlaxoWellcome and has wide operational and functional experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities included engineering, manufacturing strategy and supply co-ordination functions. Was a member of GlaxoWellcome’s worldwide manufacturing and supply board and had a significant involvement in the global integration of Glaxo and Wellcome manufacturing facilities. Has provided strategic input to a range of companies investing in the pharmaceutical sector and has conducted international operational due diligence activities. Former board member of GlaxoChem Ltd, a subsidiary company of GlaxoWellcome with global responsibility for primary manufacturing. In this capacity, responsibilities included Engineering, Health, Safety and Environment and Quality Assurance functions.
