Bio

Ram M. Jagannath is a Vice President focused on U.S. buyout opportunities in the healthcare sector. He is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Jagannath was an Associate at Genstar Capital, a San Francisco-based leveraged buyout firm. Prior to that, he worked as an Analyst at Thomas Weisel Capital Partners (now Tailwind Capital), a middle-market private equity fund. Previously, Mr. Jagannath was an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Thomas Weisel Partners. Mr. Jagannath received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management and his J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law. He earned his B.S.E. in biomedical and electrical engineering from Duke University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
