Bio

During the mid 90's, was head of sales at Nomura International in London, a dominant securities house with a substantial in-house trading book. His unit, the healthcare and technology group, was one of the most profitable risk-free area of Nomura at the time. Led a team responsible for championing what was termed "chapter 20 open book-building block trades", whereby the team sourced, structured, syndicated and distributed their own product. In 1999 was seconded to the board of directors of a fixed line telecom operator in Spain. On his return to the UK in 2001 he became the head of equities at Arc Associates, where he introduced the Inmarsat sale to APAX. Having gained extensive experience in complex corporate financial transactions, the inception of Mulier Capital was a natural progression. Has to date transacted an aggregate of over US$ 3 billion in value. Has an in depth knowledge within all asset classes, and has managed / syndicated these transactions from sourcing to closing. Often called upon to advise on complex corporate arrangements. Examples of this include advising Gallagher Holding on their purchase of a ten percent stake in Corus, Alfa Group for their stategic stake in Patra and their distressed debt purchase in Amtel-Vredestein, Fidelity International's on their stake in CTC in Russia. Has a unique network and access to ultra high net worth individuals around the world, as well as triple A rated institutions including Fidelity International, Artemis and Alfa Group who have often led and invested in many of the fundraisings.
