Bio

Presently of Counsel with the firm of Gordon & Rappold in Chicago Illinois. Has spent over 38 years representing entrepreneurial individuals in all aspects of both their business and personal lives, including mergers and acquisitions, the formation, financing and operation of start up ventures and their ultimate sale, estate and succession planning and asset protection. Representation has touched on such diverse industries as die casting, machining, oil field supplies, consumer products, software development, health care, executive aviation services and residential and industrial real estate development. Has litigated in the State, Federal and Bankruptcy Courts on both the trial and appellate levels in the areas of contracts, employment issues, mechanics liens, trade secrets, zoning matters, business dissolutions, environmental issues, bankruptcy, replevin, lease disputes and other business related issues. Also represents several regional banks in the negotiation and documentation of asset based and real estate loans. BS in Business from Roosevelt University and a JD from DePaul University. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of Illinois as well as the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, of which he is a member of the Trial Bar, the Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the Federal Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the United States Tax Court.
