He is focussed on the new microfinance fund (AGIMDC II) with a special emphasis on scouting and building investment opportunities in the microfinance ecosystem space including housing microfinance and technologies for financial inclusion. Prior to joining Aavishkaar he has worked as an Investment Manager with ARSH Advisors & Owners Limited, a Mumbai based venture capital group focused on SME investing. At ARSH he was closely involved in fund raising, end-to-end investing and support to and monitoring of portfolio companies. Prior to ARSH he worked as a business analyst at TATA Strategic Management Group focusing on the Business Analytics & Financial Services domain. Bachelors in Commerce with specialization in costing & taxation from Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce, Pune University and Masters In Economics from Gokhale Institue of Politics & Economics, Pune and completed his . Also pursuing his Chartered Financial Analyst (USA) charter and is a Level-2 candidate.
