Bio

Ms. Zakrevska is an Associate at New Horizons Venture Capital. Her prior experience includes financial analysis, analysis of investment climate, and business and financial modeling. Previously, she worked for Capital Strategy Ltd., a venture development company in Eastern Europe, where she participated in feasibility assessment and financial modeling of start-up projects. Ms. Zakrevska conducted research and evaluated regulatory constraints and the investment climate in the power generation, seaport, and healthcare sectors in Ukraine. At Capital Strategy, she also worked on business modeling for the first Ukrainian luxury private healthcare center for seniors. She assessed market demand and evaluated costs of maintaining a rehabilitation facility. Prior to that, Ms. Zakrevska worked at JSCB Ukrstotsbank in Ukraine, supporting senior staff with creditworthiness analysis of the bank’s prospective corporate clients. More recently, she worked at an economic development organization in Washington, DC where she conducted research and analysis of regional economic indicators, including job creation, foreign direct investments, exports, in order to support the promotion of investment attractiveness of the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Ms. Zakrevska was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship, funded by the U.S. Department of State, to conduct graduate studies in the United States. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kyiv, Ukraine. She has been a member of the Financial Management Association National Honor Society. Ms. Zakrevska is pursuing a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has passed the first-level CFA exam in December 2010.
