Experienced general manager within early stage lifescience businesses.Primary focus is on helping new ventures develop their commercial value propositions and supporting them whilst they build their teams. Examples include helping companies position themselves to raise finance, facilitating interactions with regulatory organisations relating to embryonic stem-cell derived cell therapies and scoping development projects and quality and design frameworks for a medical device company. Previously with VP Business Development at the startup proteomics company Procognia, out-licensed the company’s platform technologies to companies such as Teva, Qiagen and SigmaAldrich. Was also a member of the executive team that floated a subsidiary on the Israeli Stock Exchange with a post-money valuation of $29m. Whilst at The Automation Partnership, ran the Informatics Business Unit which implemented major Business Process Re-engineering projects within early stage discovery. There he created enterprise software systems that enabled scientists to order from corporate compound collections direct from their desktops. Masters degree from UMIST. MBA from Cranfield University.
