Joined CD&R’s London office in 2010 after a 33-year career at Unilever. Former President, Foods, Home and Personal Care and member of the Unilever plc Executive Board. Led the creation of a One Unilever Global Foods, Home & Personal Care Global Category Organisation, responsible for innovation and marketing mix development across 170 countries for all 270 Unilever brands, and was responsible for Unilever’s sustainability agenda. Previously, served as President, Home and Personal Care Asia and as Chairman and Managing Director of Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Unilever’s operating company in India. Prime Minister of India’s Council of Trade & Industry since 2004. Director of Diversey Inc and a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Thomson Reuters. BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
