Mark Samson

Bio

Mark plays a key role at Praesidian Capital and serves as Operating Partner, with a focus on optimizing business operations to support portfolio companies. Mark joined Praesidian Capital with more than 30 years in operations management. Most recently, he was with Getzler Henrich & Co., one of the leading middle market management and financial consulting firms in the U.S. He has worked with more than 80 retail, distribution and manufacturing companies, including National Envelope, American Apparel, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and Blimpie International. He has provided strategic turnaround consultation for private companies and leading financial institutions such as TD Bank, Wells Fargo, CIT, General Electric, U.S. Bank, JP Morgan Chase and HSBC. He also served on the board of a joint venture between an emerging market government, private enterprise and the World Bank. Additionally, Mark served as Chairman of the audit committee and lead independent director of a NYSE public company. He received his BA in Economics and Marketing from the University of South Africa and has been published in NY Law Journal and various food publications.
