Bio

Prior to forming Abacus, Mr Rubin was the Chief Executive Officer for E-Sync Networks Inc, (NSDQ: ESNI), a leader in online supply chain management. Mr Rubin has also held management positions at TeleChoice, NFO Worldwide, Southern New England Telephone (SNET) and Trans National Communications Inc (TNC). At SNET, where he was President of the General Consumer Group, Mr Rubin helped the company gain the position as the #2 long distance carrier to Connecticut consumers. He also launched the company's "War Room," which helped the company face the first competition for its local franchise, and which was the subject of a Fortune magazine article. Mr Rubin also pioneered the company's development of bundled service offerings, including local, long distance, wireless and Internet service. At TNC, a long distance service provider, Mr Rubin was responsible for the residential division of the company, and pioneered the use of affinity marketing for long distance service. Based on this success, TNC captured the #12 spot on the Inc. 500. Previously, Mr Rubin worked as a management consultant for Mercer Management Consulting and Bain & Company. He has also worked for the investment banking firm Morgan Stanley. Mr Rubin earned his MBA and undergraduate degrees from Yale University.
