Jonathan M Harris

Bio

Jon is president of Alternative Investment Management. Before joining AIM, Jon worked for J.I. Harris & Associates, LLC. Previously, he worked for The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. in its Investment Management Services Group and during his summer of business school, he worked for Goldman Sachs International as an associate in the Investment Banking Division in London. Earlier in his financial career, Jon served as a principal investment analyst for Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, the private equity firm based in Chicago During the 1996 U.S. Presidential Election, Jon served as Deputy to the Vice Presidential Campaign Manager on the Dole-Kemp Presidential Campaign. From 1994 to 1996, he was responsible for the International Finance Subcommittee issues for the majority of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs. Jon is involved with the UJA Federation of New York where he is a member of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, the Strategic Council of the Wall Street Division, and past co-chair of the Investment Management Division. He also serves as a trustee of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and the Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut. Jon is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and an advisor to the University of Michigan Investment Office on Alternative Investments. Mr. Harris earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
