John R. Grizz Deal has over twenty years of experience in startups, fast growing ventures, and acquisitions. He is managing director at Purple Mountain Ventures, serving a dozen large and small international firms on product development, capital expansion, and marketing. Grizz is currently serving as Entrepreneur in Residence for the DOE/NNSA at Technology Ventures Corporation, is Software Evangelist at Los Alamos National Laboratory, as well as an advisor to Altira Group, the premier North American fund focused on energy-related ventures. Grizz has raised over $100 million for early stage firms, is the former chief marketing officer for Space Imaging, and also the founder and former CEO of LizardTech, one of the more successful Los Alamos spin-outs. Grizz holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in geospatial science from Texas A&M University.
