Joel Killion

Bio

Joel Killion is a Principal of Moelis Capital Partners and focuses on the consumer/retail and industrial sectors. Mr. Killion has 12 years of banking and investment experience, having invested in numerous middle market leveraged buyouts and growth equity transactions, both in the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Killion has invested across a range of industries, with a particular focus in the consumer, retail and industrial sectors. Mr. Killion's experience includes transactions involving healthy companies, distressed companies and companies in both special situations and restructuring situations. Mr. Killion was previously with Sun Capital Partners where he worked both in the U.S. and in London. Prior to joining Sun Capital, he was with Catterton Partners. He began his career as an investment banking analyst at Lehman Brothers and Legg Mason. He currently serves on the board of directors of Kinsale Capital Group. Mr. Killion received a B.S. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from the Columbia Business School.
