Joe Broz

Bio

Dr Broz joined CapEx in April 2000. Previously, he served as Vice President of Technology and Business Development for TIMET, the world’s largest producer of titanium. Prior to his time at TIMET, Joe held various executive positions with Tenneco, where he was responsible for product development, manufacturing operations, quality, technology and environmental management across several corporate divisions worldwide. In 1991, Joe was appointed by President George Bush as a White House Fellow and served as Special Assistant for Science and Technology Policy. He is also a British American Fellow, a member of several scientific societies, and a US Patent holder. Joe has numerous published scientific and technical articles, and is fluent in German and conversational in other languages. Dr Broz received his BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his PhD in Physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.
