Formerly an Executive Director with Commerzbank AG, responsible for the bank’s highly successful activities in Leveraged Finance and Venture Capital. Prior to this, ran Quantum Capital Ltd, a private corporate finance advisory firm, providing strategic advice to UK and US technology companies, making various acquisitions in Europe on behalf of a US asset management company and advising the UK Government on a securitisation framework for university student loans. From 1993 to 1996, Head of Structured Finance at Lazard Brothers, where he was responsible for establishing the firm's debt advisory business. Prior to Lazard, spent ten years at UBS latterly as Executive Director, Asset Securitisation, responsible for the structuring of asset-backed financings including the first AAA-rated auto loan securitisations in the UK. Honours degree in Banking & International Finance from The Cass Business School, London.
