Gelena is an experienced project manager with deep knowledge of life science technologies and international healthcare and biotech markets. Prior to the Fund, Gelena led the BioMEd Cluster of Skolkovo Foundation вЂ“ the largest biotech incubator in modern Russia. She managed over 85 biotech start-ups and was awarded вЂњthe best empoyee awardвЂќ twice. Earlier Gelena was a marketing director at a leading drug distributor, where she launched over 20 new products bringing the revenue of $200 mln to the company. Gelena got her MD degree at Ural State Medical Academy and won the International Muskie Fellowship to study and receive MPH Management degree from UCLA, USA
