Donald Peck

Bio

Mr Peck is based in London and he is on the investment committee and acts as chairman of Actis' Indian business. He also provides leadership to their Latin American team and their Environment, Social and Governance team. He is also a member of Actis' investment committees. He was responsible for the whole of their India and South Asia business from 1995 and remains involved in many aspects of that business. Mr Peck joined Actis in 1991 and was responsible for helping to develop Actis' equity investment business and its financial institutions specialisation. He also helped established the CDC fund management business worldwide before moving to Bangalore in 1995 to set up CDC's venture capital business. Before joining Actis in 1991, Mr Peck worked in the equity investment/fund management business of IFC in Washington and in investment banking in Latin America for Lloyds Bank and Morgan Grenfell. Mr Peck hold a MA and a Doctorate in History from Oxford University.
