Bio
Dennis is a Founder and Managing Partner at Evolution Equity Partners and is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s global activities and strategic direction. He leads investments in cybersecurity, enterprise software and data analytics and brings over four decades of investment, operational and entrepreneurial experience to his role. Dennis is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Dennis has founded and invested in technology companies around the world. As a serial entrepreneur and technology executive, he has held senior roles as Managing Director, Head of marketing and sales, Product Management, VP of solutions, Head of systems and design and VP of business development. Dennis founded and led a technology consultancy focused on the diagnosis and remedying of underperforming IT environments in government, banking and finance, manufacturing and public utilities which he exited to PwC. He then joined to form the IT component of the firm`s Australasian Strategic Planning Practice. Dennis` roles included scaling several IT companies from early stage to listings on the Deutsche Borse (Germany) and NYSE. He is a founding investor in NejTV and Sixty-K where he is chairman of the board and he has held various executive and non-executive roles. He is an investor and board member in category-defining software companies like AVG Technologies, OpenDNS, Cognitive Security, Carbon Black, Security Scorecard, Onapsis, LogPoint, Eperi, DefinedCrowd, and DFLabs,. Dennis is co-Founder and Managing Partner of Evolution Equity Partners. Dennis holds a B.A. from York University, Toronto and a Tertiary Diploma in Computer Programing from the Humber College Institute of Technology, Toronto. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Endeavour Bulgaria. Endeavor being a global non-profit leader in assisting entrepreneurs to scale locally and then globally.
