Dan Torreliza

Bio

Dan Torreliza is Milestone's Director of Portfolio Administration. He brings over 20 years of experience in business development, capital formations, financial management, strategic planning, and the securities industry. He is responsible for managing the administration of Milestone's portfolio clients from invoicing and collecting payments to follow up on legal matters specific to each client. He also prepares client valuations, maintains all investment records, oversees administrative reports and filings related to the Minnesota Urban Initiative Program, and manages Milestone's accounting. Mr. Torreliza creates all SBA reports, coordinates the annual SBA exam, and follows up on SBA correspondence from banks, contributors, and clients. He also coordinates Milestone's annual audit and serves as the liaison between auditors and Milestone. Prior to joining Milestone, Mr. Torreliza was a registered representative for three major accounting firms and was the Senior Business Consultant for the Metropolitan Economic Development Association where he assessed present conditions and future goals of businesses in various industries, made administrative recommendations, produced client loan packages, and obtained financing for his clients. He has also served as Financial Analyst for Toro Company/Home Improvement Division; Cash Management Accountant for Control Data Corporation/Magnetic Peripherals, Inc.; International Credit Analyst for First Bank Minneapolis; Joint Venture Accountant for Dayton Hudson Properties; and Staff Accountant for Ag-Chem Equipment Company. Mr. Torreliza is an active member of the Asian Pacific Council, a member of the Board of Directors of the Fil-Minnesotan Association, and a volunteer teacher for business basics with Junior Achievement. He received his Mini-MBA in Management Development from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Mr. Torreliza has a Basic and Standard Certificate in Banking from the American Institute of Banking. He graduated from the University of the East, Manila, Philippines with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting.
