Bio
Charles is a Partner of Trilantic Capital Partners. His primary focus is on investments in the consumer sector. Charlie has led TCP's investments in SRAM Corporation and Fortitech, Inc., and serves on the Board of Directors of each company. He is also a member of the Board of Visitors of Stanford Law School. Prior to joining TCP in 2008, Charlie worked at The Carlyle Group, where he was a managing director in the firm's middle market buyout and growth equity fund. Prior to joining Carlyle, Charlie was a managing director of Perseus LLC, the Washington-based private equity firm. Earlier in his career, Charlie practiced law at Williams & Connolly, clerked at the U.S. Supreme Court, and worked in strategy consulting at McKinsey & Co. and Mercer Management Consulting. Charlie holds an A.B., magna cum laude, from Princeton University, an M.St. from Oxford University, and a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was a Nathan Abbott Scholar.
