Bruce M Rothstein

Bio

Mr. Rothstein is responsible for managing financial analyses, due diligence, deal structuring, execution and portfolio monitoring. He has been involved in the energy business since 1991, primarily as an investor of private equity capital on behalf of institutional investors and has been involved in mergers and acquisitions since 1982. His experience extends through many sectors of the energy industry including: oilfield services and equipment, product pipelines and terminals, petroleum products distribution, refineries, coal and electric power generation. From 2001 to 2003, he was a Managing Partner of RBC Capital Partners where he was a principal member of the investment team responsible for the RBC Energy Fund. From 1991 to 1999, he was associated with First Reserve as a Managing Director responsible for due diligence on investment transactions, deal structuring and closing, monitoring of financial performance of all portfolio companies and preparation of annual valuations. From 2000 to 2001, Mr. Rothstein was Executive Vice President and CFO of Entech Industries, a First Reserve portfolio company that designed and manufactured high-end valves for the energy industry. Entech was acquired by Dresser Industries, in May 2001. From 1978 to 1990, Mr. Rothstein served as a Senior Manager of Ernst & Young where he specialized in valuation and transaction services. He is currently a director of Ardent Holdings, LLC, Array Holdings, Inc., Torqued-Up Energy Services, Inc. and Vedco Holdings, Inc. Mr. Rothstein is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
