Founder and CEO of Polybus Consulting. Prior to founding Polybus Consulting Pte Ltd, served as Senior Vice President and Head of Healthcare Division of the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporation (BiotechCorp), the sole government agency for the implementation of the National Biotechnology Policy of Malaysia, a Prime Ministerial initiative. Held several medical positions in the UK from 1979 to 1986. Following this, pursued a career in Pharmaceutical Medicine including extensive experience in Biotechnology; working in several of the world's largest research-based pharmaceutical companies in the areas of; R&D, medical affairs and medico-marketing. In 1994, moved to Asia with Bayer as head of R&D Asia Pacific. In 1998 became President of Product Development at Quintiles Asia Pacific. Following a short-term position with Abt Associates in Washington DC, moved back to Asia to take up current position. MD from Birmingham University Medical School in 1979. Elected as a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 2000 and granted an MBA from Birmingham University in 2004.
